Peeps Sunflower Cake

I don't know about the weather where you live it at but here Spring has definitely arrived.  Since Easter is just around the corner, I thought I would share this really simple, but quite adorable Peeps Sunflower cake.

The directions couldn't be simpler - bake your favorite flavor of cake in 2 round pans.  Once cooled, frost with chocolate frosting.  Arrange yellow peeps along the perimeter of the top layer and fill in the center with chocolate chips.
